“What a Good Dog” Courses

So much to do and so little time to do it.  This is why our “What a Good Dog” Program is split down into multiple courses allowing you to take the next level when you are ready.  You get the benefit of the building block effect of quality training at the speed that is good for you.

Suitable for: 
dogs of all ages and skill level 
good health, free of contagious disease 
up to date on vaccines 
Dog that will not bark continuously 
Dogs that do not get upset with other dogs or people

Gaining Control - This is where you start your dog’s formal eduction. The games we introduce in this class teach your dog to choose to:
• Be calm, relaxed & attentive to you around other dogs and people
• Walk on a Loose Leash
• display good manners (no jumping, playful biting, chewing things up)
• stay
• beginning level come

Skill Builders
This class is part 2 of our 18 week “What a good Dog” program and is designed to advance on your previous training. In this class our games emphasize teaching your dog
• to turn on a dime & come racing to you when you call
• doggie zen - don’t touch
• to walk beside you
• attention with increasing distractions
• continues your work on polite greetings and stay.

Dogs 6 months and older
Pre-Requisite: Gaining Control or Puppy Genius
6 sessions, 45 minutes per session
Cost: $156 for the 6 classes

Distance, Duration, Distractions
This class is part 3 of our 18 week “What a good Dog” program. This advanced level of training includes more training games, interactive activities and real life training scenarios to teach the dog the amazing degree of compliance we are known for. This class emphasizes gaining exceptional verbal control over your dog so it is welcome everywhere. The games we play in this class help your dog to choose to:
• Come away from food, smells, play, other animals
• Walk Beside you past other dogs or animals, people, etc.
• To pay attention sit and down with greater distractions
• A long solid Stay
• hand signals
• prepare your dog for CGC testing
