Good manners even when
your dog is excited!

"Debbie, This is a picture of Kramer sprinting to me last week after being called to "come" - it was such a joy to have a dog at the coast that I could let off leash and know that he would come when called. We both had a great time! I was so proud of him and all he has accomplished through training! " teaching your dog to come

How to find a quality dog trainer

Check to see if the instructor has certified by The Certification Counsel for Professional Dog Trainers.

Visit a class and observe the instructor's skills with people. Are the people treated with respect? Are they having fun? Is this an instructor you would be willing to take advice from?

Look for a trainer that can get dogs to obey because it is fun rather than as an avoidance of discomfort.
