How We Ensure Quality In Group Classes
We limit the number of dogs in each class
Some trainers offer a lifetime guarantee but the class has over 20 dogs in it. This means you and your dog never get personalized attention. We don't do that. At The Well-Mannered Dog we believe you deserve to have the instructor watch what you are doing and have the time in class to give you personal attention. If you are in a class that has more than 8 dog per instructor you will not get personal attention. Therefore we limit the size of our classes to 8 dogs.
We don't allow dogs that display aggressive behavior in class
All dog's are screened for appropriateness. A dog that barks, lunges, bites, growls, snaps or shuts down because it is upset about other dogs, people really needs to have private consultations to work through those issues. It is important that you and your dog feels comfortable in class.
Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Your instructor is a certified professional dog trainer. This means the instructors skills of teaching humans and dogs have been tested by an independent counsel.

At The Well-Mannered Dog we follow learning theory principles outline by science which emphasize the use of techniques that do not cause pain or fear. This means our training effectively teaches dogs to follow commands in a short period of time but they do so happily. Each week we incorporate games to make training fun and teach you how to apply the training to your life so your dog will respond to commands at home and in public.
